Deye + Alpha Innotec: TL;DR
Yes, Deye and Alpha Innotec work together in Zerofy. Zerofy reads your Deye system through Deye Cloud and controls your Alpha Innotec heat pump through the Alpha Innotec cloud. Smart mode also follows dynamic electricity prices and solar forecasts. No extra hardware needed.
What Zerofy can do with Deye and Alpha Innotec
| Solar data from Deye | Live values and history, new data every 5 min, including the battery |
| Connection to Alpha Innotec | Cloud – your Alpha Innotec account |
| Hot-water boost | Yes |
| Autopilot: Solar mode | Yes |
| Autopilot: Smart mode (tariffs and forecasts) | Yes |
In practice
- Hot water is the simplest heat store: Autopilot can use the hot-water boost of your Alpha Innotec heat pump to heat water in hours with surplus.
- A heat pump draws roughly 1–3 kW while running, which a typical Deye home system (5–12 kW) can cover on sunny days.
- Zerofy gets new Deye data every 5 minutes. Heat pumps shouldn’t switch often, so set a minimum runtime in Autopilot.
- Zerofy also shows your Deye battery, so you can see whether surplus goes into the battery or into the heat pump.
- If the PV-Ready contact is wired to your inverter as well, decide which system triggers the hot-water run so the tank isn’t heated twice; with Zerofy the boost follows your inverter’s live surplus from its cloud, without extra wiring.
What Deye and Alpha Innotec offer on their own
Deye: Deye hybrids have no SG Ready output. A heating rod or other load can be wired to the GEN port in Smart Load Output mode, but it switches only by battery SOC (e.g. on at 100 %, off below 95 %), not by measured surplus.
Alpha Innotec: All alpha innotec heat pumps with Luxtronik 2.0 or newer are PV-Ready and SG-Ready: a potential-free contact from the inverter (or a relay) starts the heat pump, which then heats at full power up to the return-temperature limit and makes hot water up to the maximum flow temperature. alpha innotec doesn’t name specific inverters; any inverter or energy manager with a switching contact works.
Zerofy connects the two: it reads Deye production and controls your Alpha Innotec heat pump to match, together with your other devices in one app, with dynamic tariffs and forecast-based Smart mode.
Setting up Deye and Alpha Innotec in Zerofy
1. Connect Deye
Zerofy connects to Deye Cloud with your Deye Cloud login and reads PV production, meter (consumption) and battery data.
- Register your system in Deye Cloud (web or the Deye Cloud app).
- In Zerofy, add an inverter, choose Deye and log in with your Deye Cloud credentials.
- Configure the meters: the grid meter as main meter (bi-directional or consumption), production as a sub meter of type production.
2. Connect Alpha Innotec
Zerofy reaches alpha innotec heat pumps through the myUplink cloud, the same connector used for NIBE, with your myUplink login; Autopilot controls the hot-water boost.
- Register the heat pump (Luxtronik 2.1, current software) in the myUplink app.
- Make sure your myUplink account has the subscription needed for remote control.
- In Zerofy, connect myUplink and log in with your myUplink credentials.
- Enable Autopilot (Solar or Smart mode) for the hot-water tank.
Good to know: Only heat pumps on myUplink (Luxtronik 2.1) can be reached; Luxtronik 2.0 units that use heatpump24 can’t. Zerofy steers only the hot-water boost, not room or flow temperature.
3. Turn on Autopilot
In Zerofy, open your Alpha Innotec heat pump, turn on Autopilot and choose Solar – or Smart to also use dynamic tariffs and forecasts. Set the priority, activation threshold and minimum runtime.
Dynamic tariffs
Zerofy can also run your Alpha Innotec heat pump on dynamic electricity prices (EPEX Spot or Nord Pool, e.g. Tibber or aWATTar) or on a fixed time-of-use tariff. Smart mode combines those prices with forecasts of your household consumption and your Deye solar production.
About Deye and Alpha Innotec
Deye – Deye (Ningbo Deye Inverter Technology, Ningbo, China) is best known for low-voltage hybrid inverters such as the three-phase SUN-5K to SUN-12K-SG04LP3-EU, used with 48 V batteries. It also makes SUN-M60/80/100G4 microinverters (600–1000 W) for balcony and small rooftop systems. Monitoring app: Deye Cloud.
Alpha Innotec – alpha innotec is a German heat pump brand of ait-deutschland in Kasendorf, Bavaria. Its heat pumps run on the Luxtronik controller; units with Luxtronik 2.1 connect to the myUplink cloud, older Luxtronik 2.0 units use heatpump24. Products: Air-to-water and brine-to-water heat pumps with Luxtronik 2.1 control (myUplink) or Luxtronik 2.0 (heatpump24).
Manufacturer information last checked: October 2026.
