Weiheng + Alpha Innotec: TL;DR
Yes, Weiheng and Alpha Innotec work together in Zerofy. Zerofy reads your Weiheng system through ECOS and controls your Alpha Innotec heat pump through the Alpha Innotec cloud. Smart mode also follows dynamic electricity prices and solar forecasts. No extra hardware needed.
What Zerofy can do with Weiheng and Alpha Innotec
| Solar data from Weiheng | Live values and history, new data every 5 min, including the battery |
| Connection to Alpha Innotec | Cloud – your Alpha Innotec account |
| Hot-water boost | Yes |
| Autopilot: Solar mode | Yes |
| Autopilot: Smart mode (tariffs and forecasts) | Yes |
In practice
- Hot water is the simplest heat store: Autopilot can use the hot-water boost of your Alpha Innotec heat pump to heat water in hours with surplus.
- A heat pump draws roughly 1–3 kW while running, which a typical Weiheng home system (3.6–13 kW) can cover on sunny days.
- Zerofy gets new Weiheng data every 5 minutes. Heat pumps shouldn’t switch often, so set a minimum runtime in Autopilot.
- Zerofy also shows your Weiheng battery, so you can see whether surplus goes into the battery or into the heat pump.
- If the PV-Ready contact is wired to your inverter as well, decide which system triggers the hot-water run so the tank isn’t heated twice; with Zerofy the boost follows your inverter’s live surplus from its cloud, without extra wiring.
What Weiheng and Alpha Innotec offer on their own
Weiheng: WHES lists heating among the functions of its ECOS energy management, along with tariff-based planning, but names no heat pump brands and doesn’t mention SG Ready.
Alpha Innotec: All alpha innotec heat pumps with Luxtronik 2.0 or newer are PV-Ready and SG-Ready: a potential-free contact from the inverter (or a relay) starts the heat pump, which then heats at full power up to the return-temperature limit and makes hot water up to the maximum flow temperature. alpha innotec doesn’t name specific inverters; any inverter or energy manager with a switching contact works.
Zerofy connects the two: it reads Weiheng production and controls your Alpha Innotec heat pump to match, together with your other devices in one app, with dynamic tariffs and forecast-based Smart mode.
Setting up Weiheng and Alpha Innotec in Zerofy
1. Connect Weiheng
Zerofy connects through Weiheng’s partner cloud: you enter your system’s serial number in Zerofy, and Zerofy links the device and reads inverter, meter and battery data.
- Make sure your Weiheng system is online.
- In Zerofy, choose Weiheng and enter the serial number of your system.
2. Connect Alpha Innotec
Zerofy reaches alpha innotec heat pumps through the myUplink cloud, the same connector used for NIBE, with your myUplink login; Autopilot controls the hot-water boost.
- Register the heat pump (Luxtronik 2.1, current software) in the myUplink app.
- Make sure your myUplink account has the subscription needed for remote control.
- In Zerofy, connect myUplink and log in with your myUplink credentials.
- Enable Autopilot (Solar or Smart mode) for the hot-water tank.
Good to know: Only heat pumps on myUplink (Luxtronik 2.1) can be reached; Luxtronik 2.0 units that use heatpump24 can’t. Zerofy steers only the hot-water boost, not room or flow temperature.
3. Turn on Autopilot
In Zerofy, open your Alpha Innotec heat pump, turn on Autopilot and choose Solar – or Smart to also use dynamic tariffs and forecasts. Set the priority, activation threshold and minimum runtime.
Dynamic tariffs
Zerofy can also run your Alpha Innotec heat pump on dynamic electricity prices (EPEX Spot or Nord Pool, e.g. Tibber or aWATTar) or on a fixed time-of-use tariff. Smart mode combines those prices with forecasts of your household consumption and your Weiheng solar production.
About Weiheng and Alpha Innotec
Weiheng – Weiheng (Jiangsu Weiheng Intelligent Technology, Wuxi, China) is a battery storage maker; in 2025 Weiheng Energy Storage and its home brand ECACTUS were merged into the WHES brand. For homes it sells all-in-one hybrid storage systems: the single-phase PP-S2 (3.6–10 kW, 4.99–19.9 kWh) and the three-phase PP-T1 (5–13 kW, 9.98–29.94 kWh). Monitoring app: ECOS.
Alpha Innotec – alpha innotec is a German heat pump brand of ait-deutschland in Kasendorf, Bavaria. Its heat pumps run on the Luxtronik controller; units with Luxtronik 2.1 connect to the myUplink cloud, older Luxtronik 2.0 units use heatpump24. Products: Air-to-water and brine-to-water heat pumps with Luxtronik 2.1 control (myUplink) or Luxtronik 2.0 (heatpump24).
Manufacturer information last checked: October 2026.
