TSUN + Alpha Innotec: TL;DR
Yes, TSUN and Alpha Innotec work together in Zerofy. Zerofy reads your TSUN system through TSUN Smart and controls your Alpha Innotec heat pump through the Alpha Innotec cloud. Smart mode also follows dynamic electricity prices and solar forecasts. No extra hardware needed.
What Zerofy can do with TSUN and Alpha Innotec
| Solar data from TSUN | Live values and history, new data every 5 min |
| Connection to Alpha Innotec | Cloud – your Alpha Innotec account |
| Hot-water boost | Yes |
| Autopilot: Solar mode | Yes |
| Autopilot: Smart mode (tariffs and forecasts) | Yes |
In practice
- Hot water is the simplest heat store: Autopilot can use the hot-water boost of your Alpha Innotec heat pump to heat water in hours with surplus.
- A heat pump draws roughly 1–3 kW while running – more than many small TSUN systems (typically 0.8–3 kW) produce, so solar covers only part of its consumption.
- Zerofy gets new TSUN data every 5 minutes. Heat pumps shouldn’t switch often, so set a minimum runtime in Autopilot.
- If the PV-Ready contact is wired to your inverter as well, decide which system triggers the hot-water run so the tank isn’t heated twice; with Zerofy the boost follows your inverter’s live surplus from its cloud, without extra wiring.
What TSUN and Alpha Innotec offer on their own
TSUN: TSUN has no heat pump or heating-rod control in its product range.
Alpha Innotec: All alpha innotec heat pumps with Luxtronik 2.0 or newer are PV-Ready and SG-Ready: a potential-free contact from the inverter (or a relay) starts the heat pump, which then heats at full power up to the return-temperature limit and makes hot water up to the maximum flow temperature. alpha innotec doesn’t name specific inverters; any inverter or energy manager with a switching contact works.
Zerofy connects the two: it reads TSUN production and controls your Alpha Innotec heat pump to match, together with your other devices in one app, with dynamic tariffs and forecast-based Smart mode.
Setting up TSUN and Alpha Innotec in Zerofy
1. Connect TSUN
Zerofy connects to the TSUN cloud with your TSUN Smart login and reads your inverter data.
- Register your system in the TSUN Smart app.
- In Zerofy, add an inverter, choose TSUN and log in with your TSUN Smart credentials.
Good to know: Only TSUN Smart accounts work (inverter IDs starting with Y); TSUN Home accounts are not supported. Battery and meter data are only partly available, depending on the system.
2. Connect Alpha Innotec
Zerofy reaches alpha innotec heat pumps through the myUplink cloud, the same connector used for NIBE, with your myUplink login; Autopilot controls the hot-water boost.
- Register the heat pump (Luxtronik 2.1, current software) in the myUplink app.
- Make sure your myUplink account has the subscription needed for remote control.
- In Zerofy, connect myUplink and log in with your myUplink credentials.
- Enable Autopilot (Solar or Smart mode) for the hot-water tank.
Good to know: Only heat pumps on myUplink (Luxtronik 2.1) can be reached; Luxtronik 2.0 units that use heatpump24 can’t. Zerofy steers only the hot-water boost, not room or flow temperature.
3. Turn on Autopilot
In Zerofy, open your Alpha Innotec heat pump, turn on Autopilot and choose Solar – or Smart to also use dynamic tariffs and forecasts. Set the priority, activation threshold and minimum runtime.
Dynamic tariffs
Zerofy can also run your Alpha Innotec heat pump on dynamic electricity prices (EPEX Spot or Nord Pool, e.g. Tibber or aWATTar) or on a fixed time-of-use tariff. Smart mode combines those prices with forecasts of your household consumption and your TSUN solar production.
About TSUN and Alpha Innotec
TSUN – TSUN (TSUNESS Co., Ltd., Suzhou, China, with a German office in Frankfurt) makes microinverters from 300 W single units to 3.3 kW 6-in-1 units. In Europe it is mainly found in 800 W balcony systems such as the TSOL-MS800, often combined with TSUN balcony storage (MSU2000, MSU4000Elite). Monitoring app: TSUN Smart.
Alpha Innotec – alpha innotec is a German heat pump brand of ait-deutschland in Kasendorf, Bavaria. Its heat pumps run on the Luxtronik controller; units with Luxtronik 2.1 connect to the myUplink cloud, older Luxtronik 2.0 units use heatpump24. Products: Air-to-water and brine-to-water heat pumps with Luxtronik 2.1 control (myUplink) or Luxtronik 2.0 (heatpump24).
Manufacturer information last checked: October 2026.
