Weiheng + Sensibo: TL;DR
Yes, Weiheng and Sensibo work together in Zerofy. Zerofy reads your Weiheng system through ECOS and controls your Sensibo-controlled air conditioner through the Sensibo cloud. Smart mode also follows dynamic electricity prices and solar forecasts. No extra hardware needed.
What Zerofy can do with Weiheng and Sensibo
| Solar data from Weiheng | Live values and history, new data every 5 min, including the battery |
| Connection to Sensibo | Cloud – your Sensibo account |
| Switch on and off | Yes |
| Set room temperature | Yes |
| Autopilot: Solar mode | Yes |
| Autopilot: Smart mode (tariffs and forecasts) | Yes |
In practice
- Autopilot switches the air conditioner on when there’s surplus; the unit’s own setpoint logic still decides when it heats or cools.
- Zerofy gets new Weiheng data every 5 minutes and adjusts accordingly. A minimum runtime and an activation threshold in Autopilot keep passing clouds from interrupting the device.
- Zerofy also shows your Weiheng battery, so you can see whether surplus goes into the battery or into the air conditioner.
- The API key gives Zerofy access to your Sensibo account: keep it in place, because deleting or regenerating it at home.sensibo.com/me/api cuts the connection until you enter a new key in Zerofy.
What Weiheng and Sensibo offer on their own
Weiheng: WHES lists heating among the functions of its ECOS energy management, along with tariff-based planning, but names no heat pump brands and doesn’t mention SG Ready.
Sensibo: The Sensibo app automates by schedules, geofencing and “Climate React” (reacting to room temperature and humidity) and added kWh and cost tracking in October 2026. Sensibo does not advertise a mode that follows PV surplus automatically; Enphase sells Sensibo controllers, but the pairing means manually matching AC use to the production shown in the Enphase app.
Zerofy connects the two: it reads Weiheng production and controls your Sensibo-controlled air conditioner to match, together with your other devices in one app, with dynamic tariffs and forecast-based Smart mode.
Setting up Weiheng and Sensibo in Zerofy
1. Connect Weiheng
Zerofy connects through Weiheng’s partner cloud: you enter your system’s serial number in Zerofy, and Zerofy links the device and reads inverter, meter and battery data.
- Make sure your Weiheng system is online.
- In Zerofy, choose Weiheng and enter the serial number of your system.
2. Connect Sensibo
Zerofy connects to your Sensibo account with an API key; it can switch the air conditioner on and off, set the target temperature and let Autopilot run it on solar surplus or in Smart mode.
- Set up the Sensibo device in the Sensibo app.
- Create an API key at home.sensibo.com/me/api.
- In Zerofy, add Sensibo and paste the API key.

3. Turn on Autopilot
In Zerofy, open your Sensibo-controlled air conditioner, turn on Autopilot and choose Solar – or Smart to also use dynamic tariffs and forecasts. Set the priority, activation threshold and minimum runtime.
Dynamic tariffs
Zerofy can also run your Sensibo-controlled air conditioner on dynamic electricity prices (EPEX Spot or Nord Pool, e.g. Tibber or aWATTar) or on a fixed time-of-use tariff. Smart mode combines those prices with forecasts of your household consumption and your Weiheng solar production.
About Weiheng and Sensibo
Weiheng – Weiheng (Jiangsu Weiheng Intelligent Technology, Wuxi, China) is a battery storage maker; in 2025 Weiheng Energy Storage and its home brand ECACTUS were merged into the WHES brand. For homes it sells all-in-one hybrid storage systems: the single-phase PP-S2 (3.6–10 kW, 4.99–19.9 kWh) and the three-phase PP-T1 (5–13 kW, 9.98–29.94 kWh). Monitoring app: ECOS.
Sensibo – Sensibo was founded in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2013. Its controllers (Sky, Air, Air PRO) make existing air conditioners, mini-splits and air-to-air heat pumps smart by sending the same infrared commands as the original remote. Products: Sensibo Sky, Sensibo Air, Sensibo Air PRO (plus Room Sensor and Elements/Pure air-quality devices).
Manufacturer information last checked: October 2026.
