Automatically charge your EV with surplus solar power from your TSUN system. Solar surplus charging made easy.
Dynamic Tariffs
Optimize for electricity prices. Charge or run devices when rates are lowest, and use solar when prices are high.
Cloud Integration
No hardware required. Connect your TSUN and Easee via cloud APIs in minutes.
TSUN + Easee: TL;DR
Yes, TSUN and Easee work together in Zerofy. Zerofy reads your TSUN system through TSUN Smart and controls your Easee charger through the Easee cloud. Zerofy adjusts the charging current to the surplus. Smart mode also follows dynamic electricity prices and solar forecasts. No extra hardware needed.
What Zerofy can do with TSUN and Easee

| Switch between 1 and 3 phases | Not available |
| Autopilot: Solar mode | Yes |
| Autopilot: Smart mode (tariffs and forecasts) | Yes |
In practice
- Zerofy adjusts the charging current of your Easee charger but doesn’t switch phases. On a three-phase connection, solar charging needs at least about 4.1 kW of surplus (6 A × 3 × 230 V); on a single-phase connection about 1.4 kW.
- Many TSUN systems are small (typically 0.8–3 kW). A balcony system rarely produces the 1.4 kW needed to start charging, so solar charging works best with larger TSUN installations; Smart mode can still move charging to the cheapest hours.
- Zerofy gets new TSUN data every 5 minutes and adjusts accordingly. A minimum runtime and an activation threshold in Autopilot keep passing clouds from interrupting charging.
- If your car is connected to Zerofy too, turn on Autopilot for either the car or the charger, not both.
- Easee needs at least 6 A to start, which is about 1.4 kW on one phase and 4.1 kW on three. If the charger’s phase mode is set to automatic, Zerofy warns you and plans with the three-phase minimum until Easee reports single-phase charging; a fixed single-phase setting lets charging start from about 1.4 kW, but caps it at about 3.7 kW.
What TSUN and Easee offer on their own
TSUN: TSUN offers no EV charger and no surplus-charging function. An 800 W balcony system also stays below the about 1.4 kW a charger needs at its 6 A minimum.
Easee: Easee’s own solar charging needs an Easee Equalizer on the site (the P1/HAN version reads the smart meter, Equalizer Amp measures with current sensors) and Easee as site operator. The Easee app then offers “Surplus only” and “Limited grid usage”; it does not read any inverter directly.
Zerofy connects the two: it reads TSUN production and controls your Easee charger to match, together with your other devices in one app, with dynamic tariffs and forecast-based Smart mode.
Setting up TSUN and Easee in Zerofy
1. Connect TSUN
Zerofy connects to the TSUN cloud with your TSUN Smart login and reads your inverter data.
- Register your system in the TSUN Smart app.
- In Zerofy, add an inverter, choose TSUN and log in with your TSUN Smart credentials.
Good to know: Only TSUN Smart accounts work (inverter IDs starting with Y); TSUN Home accounts are not supported. Battery and meter data are only partly available, depending on the system.
2. Connect Easee
Zerofy logs in to your Easee account and starts, stops and sets the charging current through the Easee cloud.
- Make sure your Easee charger is online and added to your Easee account.
- In Zerofy, add an Easee charger and log in with your Easee account.
Good to know: Data synchronisation depends on how often the Easee cloud updates, so live values in Zerofy can lag behind the charger.
3. Turn on Autopilot
In Zerofy, open your Easee charger, turn on Autopilot and choose Solar – or Smart to also use dynamic tariffs and forecasts. Set the priority, activation threshold and minimum runtime.
Dynamic tariffs
Zerofy can also run your Easee charger on dynamic electricity prices (EPEX Spot or Nord Pool, e.g. Tibber or aWATTar) or on a fixed time-of-use tariff. Smart mode combines those prices with forecasts of your household consumption and your TSUN solar production.
About TSUN and Easee
TSUN – TSUN (TSUNESS Co., Ltd., Suzhou, China, with a German office in Frankfurt) makes microinverters from 300 W single units to 3.3 kW 6-in-1 units. In Europe it is mainly found in 800 W balcony systems such as the TSOL-MS800, often combined with TSUN balcony storage (MSU2000, MSU4000Elite). Monitoring app: TSUN Smart.
Easee – Easee is a Norwegian charger maker. Its current EU model Charge Max is a compact 22 kW box with built-in LTE and a MID meter that also runs on 3×230 V IT grids; the predecessor Charge Up leaves the EU market at the end of 2026. Products: Charge Max, Charge Up, Charge Lite, Charge, Home, One.
Manufacturer information last checked: October 2026.
