Dynamic Tariffs
Optimize for electricity prices. Charge or run devices when rates are lowest, and use solar when prices are high.
Cloud Integration
No hardware required. Connect your Enphase and Sensibo via cloud APIs in minutes.
Enphase + Sensibo: TL;DR
Yes, Enphase and Sensibo work together in Zerofy. Zerofy reads your Enphase system through Enphase App / Enlighten and controls your Sensibo-controlled air conditioner through the Sensibo cloud. Smart mode also follows dynamic electricity prices and solar forecasts. No extra hardware needed.
What Zerofy can do with Enphase and Sensibo
| Solar data from Enphase | Live values and history, new data every 5 min, including the battery |
| Connection to Sensibo | Cloud – your Sensibo account |
| Switch on and off | Yes |
| Set room temperature | Yes |
| Autopilot: Solar mode | Yes |
| Autopilot: Smart mode (tariffs and forecasts) | Yes |
In practice
- Autopilot switches the air conditioner on when there’s surplus; the unit’s own setpoint logic still decides when it heats or cools.
- Zerofy gets new Enphase data every 5 minutes and adjusts accordingly. A minimum runtime and an activation threshold in Autopilot keep passing clouds from interrupting the device.
- Zerofy also shows your Enphase battery, so you can see whether surplus goes into the battery or into the air conditioner.
- The API key gives Zerofy access to your Sensibo account: keep it in place, because deleting or regenerating it at home.sensibo.com/me/api cuts the connection until you enter a new key in Zerofy.
What Enphase and Sensibo offer on their own
Enphase: The IQ Energy Router+ (IQ Energy Router plus Energy Meter and SG Ready Relay) controls one SG Ready heat pump. It only uses SG Ready states 2 (normal) and 3 (recommended on), and Enphase publishes wiring guides for Daikin Altherma 3, Vaillant aroTherm plus and iDM.
Sensibo: The Sensibo app automates by schedules, geofencing and “Climate React” (reacting to room temperature and humidity) and added kWh and cost tracking in October 2026. Sensibo does not advertise a mode that follows PV surplus automatically; Enphase sells Sensibo controllers, but the pairing means manually matching AC use to the production shown in the Enphase app.
Zerofy connects the two: it reads Enphase production and controls your Sensibo-controlled air conditioner to match, together with your other devices in one app, with dynamic tariffs and forecast-based Smart mode.
Setting up Enphase and Sensibo in Zerofy
1. Connect Enphase
Zerofy connects to your system through the Enphase cloud: you log in with your Enphase Enlighten credentials and Zerofy reads PV production, meter (consumption) and battery data.
- Make sure your system is online and you have an account on Enphase Enlighten.
- In Zerofy, add an inverter, choose Enphase and log in with your Enlighten credentials.
- Configure the meters: the grid meter as main meter (bi-directional or consumption), production as a sub meter of type production.

2. Connect Sensibo
Zerofy connects to your Sensibo account with an API key; it can switch the air conditioner on and off, set the target temperature and let Autopilot run it on solar surplus or in Smart mode.
- Set up the Sensibo device in the Sensibo app.
- Create an API key at home.sensibo.com/me/api.
- In Zerofy, add Sensibo and paste the API key.

3. Turn on Autopilot
In Zerofy, open your Sensibo-controlled air conditioner, turn on Autopilot and choose Solar – or Smart to also use dynamic tariffs and forecasts. Set the priority, activation threshold and minimum runtime.
Dynamic tariffs
Zerofy can also run your Sensibo-controlled air conditioner on dynamic electricity prices (EPEX Spot or Nord Pool, e.g. Tibber or aWATTar) or on a fixed time-of-use tariff. Smart mode combines those prices with forecasts of your household consumption and your Enphase solar production.
About Enphase and Sensibo
Enphase – Enphase Energy (Fremont, California) makes microinverters: each panel gets its own IQ8 unit of about 300–330 VA, connected through an IQ Gateway. The AC-coupled IQ Battery 5P adds storage in 5 kWh steps, and everything is monitored in the Enphase App (Enlighten). Monitoring app: Enphase App / Enlighten.
Sensibo – Sensibo was founded in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2013. Its controllers (Sky, Air, Air PRO) make existing air conditioners, mini-splits and air-to-air heat pumps smart by sending the same infrared commands as the original remote. Products: Sensibo Sky, Sensibo Air, Sensibo Air PRO (plus Room Sensor and Elements/Pure air-quality devices).
Manufacturer information last checked: October 2026.
