NIBE is a Swedish heating manufacturer from Markaryd; in Germany its heat pumps are sold by NIBE Systemtechnik GmbH in Celle. The current range covers R290 air-to-water monoblocks (S2125, S2060), a split system (AMS 20 with SVM S332), ground-source units (S1157/S1257, S1156/S1256, S1155), and exhaust-air heat pumps (S735, S735C). All current models run on the NIBE S-series control and connect to the myUplink platform.

NIBE Air-to-water monoblock

The whole refrigerant circuit sits in one outdoor unit; only water pipes run into the house. The most common choice for retrofits, because no refrigerant lines need to be installed inside.

NIBE Air-to-water split

An outdoor unit plus an indoor hydraulic station, joined by refrigerant lines. The pipework inside the house stays frost-free without glycol, and the indoor part is often quieter to place.

Draws heat from a borehole or ground loop, so the source stays at a steady temperature all winter. Higher efficiency and no outdoor noise, but boreholes cost money and need a permit.
