Volkswagen ID.3
1st Plus 62 kWh
The Volkswagen ID.3 1st Plus covered 367 km at 90 km/h at a cool 12 °C in the test, less than the 1st and 1st Max versions tested before. The car was probably still cold at the start, as at 120 km/h it used about as much as its siblings. The 18, 19 and 20-inch wheels make no real difference to consumption, since the tyres are the same width. The Plus looks like the best value, ideally with the 18-inch wheels, as the 20-inch ones seemed noisiest.
