Hoymiles (Hangzhou, China) is one of the largest microinverter makers. In Europe it is best known for balcony systems such as the HMS-800W-2T (switchable 600/800 W) with the MS-A2 balcony battery, and it also sells HYS/HYT hybrid inverters with home batteries. Its monitoring app is S-Miles Cloud (S-Miles app).

What Hoymiles offers on its own

Before connecting Hoymiles to Zerofy, it helps to know what Hoymiles offers on its own:

• EV charging: Hoymiles sells its own AC chargers (VAS-7-G2 single-phase 7 kW, VAT-11-G2 and VAT-22-G2 three-phase) with a green power mode that follows PV surplus, but only together with a Hoymiles storage inverter (HYS, HAS, HYT, HAT), not with microinverters. An 800 W balcony system on its own never reaches the about 1.4 kW a charger needs at its 6 A minimum.
• Heating: On the three-phase HiOne all-in-one storage system (G3), Hoymiles has a dry contact (DO1) for SG Ready heat pumps, but the manual (January 2026) lists heat pump control as “coming soon”. Hoymiles microinverters have no heating control.
• Other loads: The HiOne can switch a smart load on its GEN port when PV feed-in exceeds a set load power (Intelligent Mode), with a minimum running time.
