Volkswagen e-up!
36.8 kWh (2019)
One of the most efficient cars in the winter tests, using 147 Wh/km at 90 km/h at around 3 °C, is the 36.8 kWh Volkswagen e-up! That gave 198 km, almost twice the range of the old 18.7 kWh version. Otherwise the car felt very basic, with analogue gauges, no charge percentage display and no adaptive cruise control, and the lane assist simply switched off when the driver let go of the wheel. At 120 km/h it still managed about 136 km, which seems decent for the price.
