Nissan Leaf
e+ 62 kWh
The Nissan Leaf e+ 62 kWh covered 370 km at 90 km/h in the summer test, close to its 385 km WLTP rating. The car turned out to be only around 120 kg heavier than the 40 kWh Leaf. More importantly, the battery heated up only about a third as much per kWh charged as the 40 kWh pack, making it far less prone to slow charging from a hot battery. Motorway trips of 400 to 500 km should be fine, but longer drives in hot weather remain a weak spot.
