Mercedes-Benz EQA
350 4Matic
The Mercedes-Benz EQA 350 4Matic covered 321 km at 90 km/h in the winter test at around 2 °C, using just over 200 Wh/km. As it cruises mainly on its permanent-magnet rear motor, it should beat the front-wheel-drive EQA 250 in summer, and it felt quieter. The driver assistance deserves applause: when the wheel was released, the car kept steering and slowed down safely instead of simply disengaging. At its price, however, it seems hard to justify, as rivals like the Kia EV6 or Tesla Model Y offer more and the bigger EQC costs only a little extra.
