NIO ET5
100 kWh
The NIO ET5 100 kWh covered 479 km at 90 km/h in a test at a mild 12 °C, thanks more to its big battery than to efficiency. The ride proved superb, better than a Tesla Model 3 and similar to a BMW i4, and the cabin quiet. The zigzagging lane keeping assist and inconsistent fast charging drew criticism, and the sound system earned five out of ten because of a rattle in the boot. Overall it impresses on comfort and features, but not on efficiency.
