Mercedes-Benz EQV
300 (2022)
In a retest at around 4 °C on wet roads, the Mercedes EQV 300 used 293 Wh/km at 90 km/h, one of the thirstiest winter-season results. That still gave 299 km, compared with 245 km in an earlier EQV test in freezing weather. At almost three tonnes it was the heaviest vehicle tested, and its combustion-van platform is to blame, given that the smaller ID. Buzz goes further on a smaller battery. The quiet, spacious cabin earned praise, but lane-centring was missing and the ride felt bouncy, more like a van than an SUV.
