The Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic went 639 km at 90 km/h in summer, one of the longest ranges in the tests, and 511 km at 4 °C. The video shows the cooler, partly wet test, where consumption was a little high because of the all-wheel drive and wide 21-inch tyres, but thanks to low drag it rose relatively little at 120 km/h. The cabin was dead quiet, and the Burmester sound system earned 11 out of 10. Charging was the weak spot, as a cool battery at first held it to about 140 kW.
