Mazda MX-30

Range test

Mazda MX-30

The Mazda MX-30 covered just 159 km at 90 km/h in the test at around 3 °C on wet roads, one of the shortest winter ranges in the database. About 30 kWh came out of the 35.5 kWh battery, and just as much at 120 km/h. It felt quiet and seemed to drive better than the Renault Zoe, although the Zoe has a bigger battery and faster charging. A persistent rattle from the rear was annoying, but the verdict was that the MX-30 is superb in the city, just limited by its range and charging speed.
