MG ZS EV 72 kWh

Range test

MG ZS EV

72 kWh

In winter conditions at around 2 °C on wet roads, the MG ZS EV 72 kWh covered 356 km at 90 km/h and 260 km at 120 km/h. Usable capacity measured 67.6 kWh and consumption was lower than in the older ZS EV, a very good result for a boxy budget car in winter. The trip meter over-reported distance by 3.7%, a new record in the tests, and in cruise control the car still slowed down with the friction brakes rather than regenerating. Without a subwoofer, the sound system lacked deep bass but sounded surprisingly clear.
