Hyundai Ioniq Electric
28 kWh
With its small battery, the Hyundai Ioniq Electric 28 kWh managed 154 km at 90 km/h in the winter test, one of the shortest ranges recorded. This video instead shows a careful eco run at around -3 °C, averaging about 80 km/h, good for just over 200 km on a charge. It was dubbed the king of efficiency: the streamlined car coasted easily and its heat pump drew only about half a kilowatt. It came across as a good option that is cheaper than the BMW i3 and e-Golf and still comes with adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist.
