BMW i3
120 Ah 42 kWh
At around 12 °C in November, the BMW i3 120 Ah used only 151 Wh/km at 90 km/h, one of the most efficient results in the winter-season tests. That meant 259 km of range, or about 177 km at 120 km/h, and the battery delivered almost the same energy at both speeds, taken as a sign of good engineering. It still fast charged at about 49 kW at 85%, but the range estimate dropped abruptly near empty. The bright headlights won praise, but the seats felt too flat and the tall, short car was unsettled by crosswinds at motorway speed.
