Announcing Zerofy 2.0 with fresh UI and advanced algorithms

We’re excited to announce a major update of Zerofy, our 2.0 release.
The first thing you will immediately notice is the updated user interface. Customers already loved the simple-to-use interface of our 1.0 release. The new release takes the best of that and adds a fresh look.

Already over the past few releases we have updated several other parts of the UI, for example the device lists and more.
The new UI is available to all users starting today, and also to our white label customers.
A new generation of algorithms
The ultimate goal of Zerofy is to help households save on energy costs and reduce carbon emissions. Our current product already achieves this by maximizing solar self-consumption (aka “Run on Solar”) and leveraging dynamic electricity tariffs (aka “Run on Price”) to automatically shift consumption to the lowest-cost hours.
To further reduce energy costs strategically, we’ve been developing a new generation of algorithms designed to create cost-optimal daily plans. These algorithms factor in forecasts such as solar production and household consumption, enabling more efficient integration of solar energy with dynamic grid tariffs. They also optimize battery charging and discharging to maximize savings.
Over the coming months and years, we will release several iterations of these advanced algorithms. This work involves cutting-edge AI research, and we’re proud to announce that Zerofy has secured a 7-figure grant for a research project in collaboration with leading academic institutions to support these innovations.
The first generation of these algorithms is currently in beta testing. End-users and B2B customers interested in early access can request to join the program here. We’ll gradually roll out these new features throughout Q1 2025.
More device integrations
We have significantly revamped and extended our device integrations over the past few months. This process is still in progress, but we’re excited to announce these recent updates:
- Huawei Batteries
- Fronius extended support meters and batteries
- Deye
- Solarman
- Anker inverters
- And more …
