Volkswagen ID. Buzz
Pro 82 kWh
At −4 °C, the Volkswagen ID. Buzz Pro 82 kWh used 266 Wh/km at 90 km/h, one of the thirstiest results in the winter tests, giving 280 km of range. This was a retest of the same van driven in summer, now on winter tyres and with about 60 kg of luggage; consumption was 27% higher at 90 km/h but only 18% higher at 120 km/h. The missing heat pump is the likely culprit, as the heater alone drew around 3.5 kW while driving. Even so, it still counts as relatively efficient for a van.
