Volkswagen ID.4
GTX 82 kWh
The Volkswagen ID.4 GTX went 456 km at 90 km/h at around 22 °C, slightly further than the rear-wheel-drive ID.4 1st. At 120 km/h it used only 221 Wh/km, less than the Skoda Enyaq and the other ID.4 managed in cooler weather, leading to the conclusion that all-wheel drive costs the MEB cars no efficiency. Despite about 100 kg extra, it felt quicker and more nimble out of corners than the rear-wheel-drive version, and fairly quiet even on 21-inch wheels. Near empty, though, its range estimate was optimistic.
